Gold Melting Ceremony

This ceremony was held on 14th March 2006, in Shanghai, China, where many sanghas and devotees was there to attend the ceremony.

All the gold contributed by devotees were thrown into the furnace and were melted down for use toward the construction of the Buddha Tooth Relic Stupa.
